Gibb Signs Pro Contract
2008-06-05 - Gaels MVP goaltender Ryan Gibb has elected to forgo his final three years of eligibility and sign a professional contract with the Laredo Bucks based in Texas of the Central Hockey League.
Queen's Adds Another Recruit; David Chubb
2008-06-04 - Queen's has announced that David Chubb from Stevensville, Nfld., will join the men’s hockey program next season. Chubb, a 21-year old left-winger joins the Gaels from Cornwall Colts of the Canadian Junior Hockey League.
Queen's Adds Another Recruit; Danny Morgan
2008-05-05 - Kingston, ON - Danny Morgan of the Pictou County Weeks Crushers in the MJHL has comitted to joining the Queen's Golden Gaels for the 2008-2009 Season.
Olsen Signs Pro Contract With Rapid City Rush
2008-04-29 - Gaels Forward Brady Olsen has signed a one-year contract with the Rapid City Rush in the 'AA' Pro Central Hockey League.
Canucks Hire Former Gaels Head Coach as General Manager
2008-04-23 - Former Queen's Golden Gaels men's hockey coach Mike Gillis has been hired as the next General Manager of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks. The 49-year old Gillis coached the Gaels for one season in 1985-86.
